Profound articles bridged by simplicity

Today I decided to finish a project I started weeks ago. I am an extremely sentimental person. Hoarding memento's that solidify special moments or creating something artistic with them is a passion of mine. This being said I shall share how my excitement of the project turned into me calling out for gauze, medical tape and triple antibiotic ointment.

My wonderful boyfriend appreciates gourmet coffee as much as I do, we enjoy trying different blends from various countries. With this being a passion we share whether together or apart he makes sure I have enough in the house. The different containers they come in are very interesting so I started hoarding them in hopes to create a portrait of coffee moments incorporating the different coffee labels,as well as the decriptions of their origin.

When I was trying to remove the labels from some of the containers I found the scissors I was using made this more difficult then I originally anticipated. Then I thought maybe the box~cutter will work. This idea enabled me to remove all the labels instantly. My project was finished after so many steps and turned out beautifully!

It's clean~up time but first I must hang the newly created ~Loving memories of gourmet coffee~. I get up start to walk suddenly........ I feel sharp pain running up my body from my foot. That's right~!~ I forgot to retract the blade in the box cutter I used for the project.
Removing my sock as I sit on my bed,my left big toe is bleeding quite a bit. I begin to apply pressure then 45 seconds later I am blinking on my bed " what happen??? " toe still bleeding I realized I passed out. This completely confused me being a regular donor at the blood bank and this never occured except once when I got up too soon.

So I call to my Father for gauze, antibiotic ointment and med tape. I have decided clean~up will be put off for now. My ~Loving memories of gourmet coffee~ and it's creation shall never be forgotten. I also believe I have taken a lesson always make sure to retract the blade of a box~cutter after your finished with your project.

Have a good SAFE evening all~!~
